Wrap it Up
Even though I did absolutely nothing to my hair on the morning of this picture, except put the lovely hair wrap on it, my hair looks fabulous. Usually, I spritz some water and conditioner on it, just for good measure, but I was in too much of a rush that day and the curls were still fresh and defined.
Wash ‘n’ Go
I did this wash and go for New Year’s Eve and got so many compliments on it. See below under “Maintenance” for tips on how I do my wash and go’s. NOTE: In this picture, I have the same 3b/3c texture but I used one 16′ bundle and two 18′ bundles.
Half-Bun Updo
Since I haven’t gotten used to the idea of a closure yet and haven’t tried one, this is one of my go-to styles when I don’t have time to twist my leave out. But don’t worry, Miyi hair not only has matching closures but frontals as well and they all look very natural.
Braid-Out Beauty
Here is my favorite style, the braid out. It’s very easy to do (add water and your best curling cream, then individually braid your hair, dry it overnight, take out the braids and viola!) just like with your natural hair, and it lasts for several days.
Maintenance
Maintenance is super easy with this hair. On the day-to-day, as I said earlier, I usually spray it with water and leave-in conditioner and then I’m out the door. On wash days, I use co-wash on the extensions and sometimes just shampoo my leave-out. After conditioning, I twist my leave out with a combination of a curling creme and a gel, then I take out the twists when it dries. At night, I either put all of my hair in big twists and wear a bonnet or put it up in a pineapple with a scarf and a bonnet. Tangling and shedding is very minimal, just about the same as it is with my natural hair. That’s the best thing about this hair, you don’t really have to do much of anything different than what you would do with your own hair. What more can you ask for?
